"The seafood (oysters and quahogs) we enjoyed was some of the freshest and most delicious shellfish we have ever had."

TONG AND SHUCK
The Ultimate Oyster Aficionado's Dream
Imagine this...you get to eat as many fresh oysters as you’d like while learning how Islanders tong and shuck them.
Jim Conohan comes from a family of fishers and has been fishing since he was a boy. Now he harvests oysters from the beautiful Boughton River right in front of his home.
Jim will then show you how to properly oyster shuck so you can try to shuck some yourself and of course, eat as many as you want! To top it all off, Jim will boil up a feed of Quahogs (hard shell clams) and mussels to end the experience. Seafood like this doesn't get any fresher!

For safety reasons, we can’t take you out on the dory but you can still try using the traditional tongs used to scoop up oysters from the dock.
