"We loved it!  The kids had a ball there and Nancy was so great.  I'm so glad they had the opportunity to experience a morning on an actual farm and it was so hands-on and perfect."

At Hope River Farm, there's always something to do! Every morning and afternoon it's Chore Time and Nancy, Ken and Kaley Sanderson would love to have you join them to learn how they raise their animals in a sustainable, free range way....and you'll get to help out with whatever is going on.

Hope River Farm is a Prince Edward Island gem. It is home to sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks and rabbits. Nancy and Ken raise all their animals outdoors on pasture. The laying hens free range while the meat chickens and ducks are moved daily in pasture pens. Sheep and pigs are also moved around the pasture in large outdoor fenced areas.

During Chore Time, you'll throw on some work gloves and get the opportunity to help move the pens, feed and care for all the animals. It will give you and your family a real understanding of what it takes to run a small farm that produces the food we eat on a daily basis.
